Pedro Da Silva, the former general manager of Holiday Inn London – Brentford Lock, has joined Great London Hospitality Hotels (GLH) as GM of Amba Hotel Charing Cross.
Da Silva has joined GLH Hotels with a variety of hospitality experience across three continents ranging from rooms division, F&B and revenue management – and was also awarded general manager of the year in 2016 by former employer, RBH hospitality management.
Da Silva was also tasked with leading the first two open lobby concepts in Europe at Holiday Inn for IHG.
Upon his appointment he has already created, and filled, a brand new guest relations manager role at Amba Hotel Charing Cross. The position will look to offer guests “a new level of surprise and delight” during their stay and “focus on the little details that make a big difference”.
Da Silva said: “I’m excited to be able to put my ideas into practice and really celebrate Amba Hotel Charing Cross – the team, product and location are brilliant, so in my eyes it can only get better. Amba is such an inspiring brand and there is real scope to push the boundaries when it comes to the way we interact and look after our guests.”
