Lifestyle hotel brand Miiro has unveiled its senior management team as it prepares for a series of European openings.

Led by Neena Gupta, CEO at Miiro, the team of industry experts will be responsible for launching and establishing the Miiro brand in Europe, including the launch of its London hotel, Templeton Garden in Earl’s Court, in 2025.

The new hotel will feature 156-rooms, a café-meets-deli, restaurant, bar and a standout garden.

Alongside Gupta, Martin Quinn has been appointed as head of investment strategy. In his role at Miiro, Quinn will advise on strategy and oversee asset management projects, as well as hotel capital investments.

James Hurst has also been appointed as head of Projects, Design and Construction – Europe. In his new role, Hurst will manage the renovation projects at all hotels prior to launch.

He has led “high-end” hotel refurbishments, completing projects for brands including Marriott, IHG and Standard Hotels International, where he was senior director of Construction and Project Management.

Meanwhile, Milad Badri will take on the role of a chief experience officer (CXO).

His previous roles include director of brand experience with Mondrian and director of brand marketing with Jumeirah Group. At Miiro, Badri has been integral in implementing the brand identity and concepts, and will manage their rollout across the growing portfolio.

Additionally, Ashleigh Lasry has been appointed as director of marketing, Paula Cogan as head of sales and Mark Holland as asset manager.

With 14 years’ experience in luxury and lifestyle hospitality, Lasry joins Miiro to lead the marketing team, set the strategy and spearhead all communication surrounding the brand and individual properties.

On the other hand, Cogan will oversee the establishment of a dynamic sales team that will bring “Miiro’s vision” to markets and partners across the globe and Holland will asset manage the hotel capital investment projects and oversee budgeting and forecasting for the rebranded hotels.

Lastly, Simon Maguire has been appointed as head of Miiro’s Learning and Development programme. It said Maguire brings extensive knowledge in building and developing “high-performing” teams, more recently consulting for the likes of Amazon and THG on leadership and development. At Miiro, Simon will establish a “best-in-class” training and development programme, focused around Miiro’s “core values to ensure the brand retains and grows industry-leading talent”.

Gupta said: “In my experience working with some of the world’s biggest travel and hospitality companies, it is ultimately the people behind the brand that is the key to its success. When developing the Miiro team, I spent over five years sourcing the right industry-leading talent, with varied experiences but making sure that they also embody our shared values and positive company culture.

“This will be fundamental to the making of Miiro. Each with impressive experience working with renowned global hospitality brands, and with an unwavering commitment to the Miiro ethos of creating Brilliantly Considered Stays, I’m confident that together we will set a new benchmark for the industry again.”
