Bob W, a hospitality operator, is set to open its sixth London aparthotel near St Paul’s Cathedral in early spring. This new addition follows a recent €40m (£34m) funding round and aims to offer guests a hotel-quality experience with a focus on technology and amenities. The aparthotel features studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments equipped with custom technology and supported by a digital front desk and app for self-service check-in and check-out. Bob W emphasises its commitment to revolutionising hospitality by incorporating technology, local design, and eco-friendly practices into its properties.

Cameron House, a luxury resort on Loch Lomond, has unveiled its newest dining venue, La Vista. The restaurant, which opened on March 18, boasts a modern design with floor-to-ceiling windows and a marble-topped bar. La Vista offers authentic Italian cuisine curated by head chef Mark Pawsey, featuring small plates, signature mains, handmade pastas, and wood-fired pizzas. Additionally, a deli and food shop, as well as an al fresco terrace, will complement the dining experience. La Vista aims to celebrate Italy’s culinary heritage while offering breathtaking views of Loch Lomond.

Stapleford Park, a country house hotel in Leicestershire, has partnered with M&T Hotel Management, becoming part of their portfolio. Owned by Dreamr Hotels, Stapleford Park features individually curated bedrooms and is recognized as a unique property in the country house hotel arena. M&T aims to enhance Stapleford Park’s offering and performance while fostering a successful relationship with Dreamr Hotels. David Fam, CEO of Dreamr Group, sees Stapleford Park as the flagship hotel, marking the beginning of a national and global portfolio.

Starboard Hotels has appointed Simon Fordham as the new general manager of Ibis Styles Gatwick ahead of its reopening. Fordham, a veteran in the hospitality industry, will lead the re-opening of the hotel after a full refurbishment and rebranding. The hotel, located close to Gatwick Airport, will offer 182 rooms and a 130-cover restaurant catering to both hotel guests and the local community. Fordham’s leadership skills and industry expertise are expected to drive the success of the hotel in the competitive Gatwick market, with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction and implementing eco-friendly practices.
