Swinton Estate, known for its luxurious accommodations and commitment to sustainability, has selected Paul Hunter as its new general manager. Hunter brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in boutique hotels and major hospitality groups. His responsibilities will include overseeing various aspects of the estate’s leisure operations, including fine dining experiences, glamping sites, and holiday cottages. With recent upgrades to facilities like Samuel’s Restaurant, Swinton Estate aims to secure top culinary awards while maintaining a focus on sustainability and community engagement.

The White Horses, part of the Everly Hotels Collection, is gearing up for its grand opening along the East Sussex coastline. Ahead of this, they’re actively recruiting over 40 team members for a range of roles, including front of house, kitchen staff, and housekeeping. Emphasising community involvement, the hotel plans to fill at least 10% of these positions with apprentices from the local area. With a management team already in place, The White Horses aims to integrate seamlessly into the Rottingdean community, enriching guests’ experiences with local knowledge and hospitality.

The Biltmore Mayfair, previously operated under the Hilton LXR Hotels and Resorts brand, is transitioning to full internal management. Under the leadership of managing director Vella Ramasawmy, the hotel is set to maintain its five-star status while expanding its brand proposition. Developments include the launch of a terrace activation with Veuve Clicquot champagne. This move reflects a strategic decision to enhance guest experiences and solidify The Biltmore’s position as one of London’s top luxury hotels.

Adagio, a prominent hospitality brand, has appointed Stéphane Ormand as its new sales and revenue director. Ormand’s extensive experience in the transport sector, coupled with his academic background, makes him well-suited to support Adagio’s growth plans. His role will focus on implementing new revenue management and pricing strategies as part of the Next Adagio acceleration plan. Ormand’s enthusiasm and commercial acumen are expected to contribute significantly to Adagio’s continued success.
