Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has revealed that its RevPAR increased 15% on a constant currency basis in the EMEA region for the three months ended 30 June 2024.
Alongside this the brand opened 22 new hotels and awarded 27 new hotel contracts in the first half of 2024 across Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia and Africa.
The company has delivered openings and developments in key markets across the region, including France, Germany, India, Türkiye and the UK.
This has contributed to its 16th consecutive quarter of sequential global development pipeline growth.
Overall, the company had more than 90,000 rooms throughout EMEA as of 30 June 2024.
In the period the company opened the Super 8 by Wyndham in Durham, following the brand’s entry into the UK market in Chester last year.
Dimitris Manikis, president EMEA, said: “The continued rebound in leisure and business travel has been driven by a growing demand for both popular and emerging destinations, as well as experience-focused trips.
“We’re continuing to build on our footprint of incredible hotels across the region, and when you couple that momentum with the Wyndham Advantage, it’s a win-win for owners and guests alike.”
