Highly Recommended Hotels (HRH) has officially launched a curated collection of 12 privately-owned luxury hotels across the UK.
According to HRH, each hotel is “highly regarded for its impeccable hospitality, exquisite design features, refined elegance and its range of truly memorable local experiences”.
Plas Dinas in North Wales, No.1 York, No.15 Bath, No.42 Margate and the soon-to-open No.124 Brighton have joined other HRH establishments such as Storrs Hall, Matfen Hall and The Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey.
Jontjë Cunliffe-Lister, managing director of Highly Recommended Hotels, said: “With over two decades spent championing the luxury independent hotel sector, I am delighted to launch a collection of exceptional four-star and five-star hotels across the UK.
“From lavish lakeside retreats and vibrant city boltholes to historic countryside hotels and quirky boutique hotels, our collection currently comprises a dozen privately-owned British gems, each chosen for its impeccable hospitality.”
She added: “As we expand over the coming months, we are actively looking for charming, independent hotels in Scotland and Ireland, as well as luxury hotels throughout the UK, every one of which will prioritise the all-important guest experience.”
Some of the hotels within the HRH family include Grade II-listed Storrs Hall in Cumbria; GuestHouse Hotels’ four properties – No.1 York, No.15 Bath, No.42 Margate and the soon-to-open No.124 Brighton; the five-star Plas Dinas Country House Hotel; Hoar Cross Hall; The Cavendish at Baslow; Matfen Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa; and The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa at Bolton Abbey.
