Northcote Hotel in Lancashire has been brought to market for an undisclosed price.
The property is being marketed by Savills which is operating the sale on a “price on application” basis.
It is being pitched as a freehold opportunity that includes 26 bedrooms and planning consent for an extra restaurant.
The hotel was acquired in 2019 by Britannia Hospitality Limited, the owners of The Stafford, which subsequently created The Stafford Collection.
Earlier this year, Britannia Hospitality reported a pre-tax loss of £6.6m for the year ended 31 March 2023, following a loss of £3.5m, in the previous 12 months.
Northcote’s turnover rose from £5.8m to £6.1m in 2023, but its pre-tax profits dropped from £215,978 in 2022 to a loss of £171,284 in 2023.
Northcote’s restaurant is led by executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen and hosts the annual culinary festival Obsession.
