The Prince Akatoki London has announced that Ray Goertz, who has served as general manager for the past seven years, will step down from his role at the end of November 2024.
Under Goertz’s leadership, the hotel has evolved from The Arch London in 2019 into The Prince Akatoki London, a five-star establishment that has been recognised with the Forbes Five-Star Rating for three consecutive years.
Goertz joined the property in 2017, bringing a wealth of experience and an “unwavering commitment” to delivering excellence. During this time he oversaw the hotel’s complete refurbishment, rebranding, and repositioning.
Goetz said “I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved at The Prince Akatoki London since rebranding. The journey from The Arch London to The Prince Akatoki London has been nothing short of remarkable. The dedication of our team, the support of our loyal guests, and the success of our rebranding efforts have all made this an unforgettable chapter of my career.”
Goertz added he will take a “well-deserved break” to spend the holiday season with his family and enjoy the Christmas festivities before embarking on his next professional adventure.
