The Rosemount Hotel in the centre of Pitlochry, Scotland, has been brought to market for a freehold asking price of £1.2m.
The Victorian property comprises two junior suites and 14 letting bedrooms, as well as a south-facing outdoor terrace. It also includes four staff bedrooms and a large on-site car park.
Having been owned and operated by the current owners for 35 years, they are now searching for a seller in order to retire.
The hotel has built a reputation for providing high quality letting rooms with extensive dining and public spaces, as well as being pet friendly.
In addition, the property comes with the potential for further development and reconfiguration to create additional rooms and facilities.
Gary Witham, director of hotels at Christie and Co, said: “This is a sizable property in a fantastic town centre location. Pitlochry remains a go-to location for activity holidays, general tourism and as a gateway to the Highlands and beyond.”
Strategically located on the main A9 route between Edinburgh and the Highlands, the town is a popular stop-off for visitors travelling between Edinburgh, Inverness and the NC500.
