7H, a provider of third-party hotel management services, has announced the appointment of Martin MacPhail as its new managing director.

MacPhail joins the company after 14 years at RBH where he held roles including talent and resourcing manager and human resources director.

He also spent more than eight years at Gleneagles hotel and 7H believes he has a “proven track record” of building high-performing teams.

According to the company, his expertise in third-party management, coupled with his strategic vision, “positions him ideally” to enhance 7H’s service offering and expand its portfolio.

Richard Ellison, CEO of 7H, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Martin MacPhail to the 7H team. His deep expertise and passion for the hospitality industry make him an invaluable asset to our organisation. Martin’s leadership will undoubtedly guide us to new heights, helping us to expand our portfolio and enhance the services we offer to our guests.”

MacPhail added: “I am excited to be joining 7H at such a pivotal time for the company,” said Martin MacPhail. “I look forward to working with the talented team at 7H to build on the company’s strong foundation and drive future success. 7H provides management for a number of hotels across the UK with a particular focus on the Scottish market.
