The former Loch Earn Hotel, a large waterfront venue in Perthshire, is looking for new owners with an asking price of over £795,000.
Located in the village of St Fillan’s, the former hotel currently comprises 38 bedrooms, but offers “significant” opportunities for development under new ownership, including planning permission to convert the building into 22 serviced apartments.
The Victorian-style property overlooks Loch Earn and offers a large waterfront beer garden with views, as well as ten moorings, 3 piers and private slipway access to the Loch.
Tony Spence, associate director at Christie and Co who is managing the sale, said: “This exciting project would suit an operator or developer due to its suitability for change of use. The property could be converted into an apart-hotel, apartments or residential, and its potential could be extremely rewarding for the right buyer.”
