Kew Green Hotels has announced that it has been appointed as the hotel management partner for Best Western Sheffield City Hotel.

This 111-bedroom hotel features all en-suite rooms, a bar, versatile meeting spaces, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property. Additionally, the hotel is pet-friendly.

The rebranding to Best Western Sheffield City Hotel reflects a “strategic decision” aimed at leveraging the strong global presence of the Best Western brand while benefiting from Kew Green Hotels’ expertise in hotel management.

Justin Lanzkron, director of business development for Kew Green Hotels, said: “We are delighted to add our first hotel to the Sheffield market, a key market in Yorkshire. This appointment strengthens our relationship with London Town Group. This is the third hotel we manage under their ownership.”

Located in Sheffield’s Quay Side quarter, the hotel is just moments from the city centre and a short walk from Sheffield train station. The hotel is also easily accessible from the Peak District National Park, offering a perfect base for both city and nature explorers.

Founded in 2001 with a single hotel, Kew Green Hotels now manages hotels across the world, with several leading global brands, including IHG Hotels and Resorts, Hilton, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Marriott International.

The company has over 1,200 employees working across the spectrum of hotel operations, from limited service through to luxury full service.

Kew Green Hotels has a growing presence in Asia, which includes seven properties in Bangkok which opened from the end of 2021, delivered by a joint-venture with Siamese Asset, to form Siamese and Kew Green Management Company, Thailand.
