Malmaison reveals double GM appointments

Boutique hotel brand Malmaison has appointed two new general managers across its portfolio of hotels.

Antonio Sanchez has been promoted to GM of Malmaison Cheltenham, having previously held the position of deputy GM at Malmaison Oxford, a role he held for a year.

Additionally, Chris McLaughlin has joined Malmaison Belfast as GMm, and joined the brand from Hasting Culloden Estate and Spa in Northern Ireland, where he was deputy GM. Prior to this he held a number of roles within the New Zealand hospitality industry, including as general manager and head chef.

According to the group, both will be responsible for overseeing their respective 62 and 55-strong teams, and ensuring the “seamless delivery of the outstanding customer service and high standards that Malmaison is known for”.
