Moddershall Oaks, a luxury country spa retreat in 72 acres of Staffordshire countryside near Stoke-on-Trent, has retained its five-star guest accommodation rating from Visit England.
The national tourism body awarded the top rating following an anonymous inspection, citing the quality of the retreat’s suites and breakfast service.
One of Visit England’s 50 trained assessors carried out the unannounced visit, assessing criteria such as booking, customer service and cleanliness – the latter considered the most important factor.
Director Penny Weston said: “We’re so proud to have been awarded a five-star rating by Visit England. It’s a privilege to host guests who prioritise their wellbeing and choose to spend the night with us.
“Receiving this top rating for our facilities supports our commitment to providing a top class service and exceptional accommodation and facilities for a truly memorable stay.”
To mark the award, Moddershall Oaks has launched the Moddershall Luxe Spa Break, a permanent addition to its wellness packages.
The Moddershall Luxe Day Spa package includes a welcome drink, access to spa facilities, a two-course lunch, the signature treatment, gym use, discounted wellbeing classes, and robe and towel hire.
