The Chancery Rosewood hotel in Mayfair will launch five new restaurants and bars in September, each led by a different chef or hospitality figure.

The venues are located in the Grade II-listed former US Embassy at Grosvenor Square, redesigned by David Chipperfield Architects.

Out of the five new venues, Serra, Jacqueline, Eagle Bar and GSQ will open on 1 September, followed by Tobi Masa on 16 September.

Serra will serve southern Mediterranean-inspired dishes under chef de cuisine Alex Povall, formerly of Berenjak and Murano.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline, led by executive pastry chef Marius Dufay, will operate as a tearoom and dessert salon, with pastries inspired by single flowers and an afternoon tea offering.

Additionally, Tobi Masa will mark the London debut of Masayoshi Takayama, whose New York restaurant Masa holds three Michelin stars.

Eagle Bar will operate as the hotel’s rooftop bar with city views, cocktails from director of bars Liana Oster, and a music programme curated by an East London collective.

Lastly, GSQ will serve as a café and delicatessen, offering coffee, pastries, salads, sandwiches and snacks throughout the day.

The Chancery Rosewood, an all-suite hotel with 144 suites designed by Joseph Dirand, features seven restaurants and bars, including the forthcoming European premiere of Carbone.
