St Ermin’s Hotel in Westminster has announced the appointment of Tom Walsh to the sales and marketing director role, following the retirement of long-serving director Stuart Leckie.

The four-star deluxe property, which is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, recently took the top spot in the 2025 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice awards for the UK, ranked second in Europe and sixth worldwide.

Walsh said: “It’s an honour to take over from Stuart after working with him for so long and I look forward to maintaining and building the great reputation the whole team at St Ermin’s has built over many years.”

Located close to St James’s Park underground station, the central London hotel is known for its historic links to British intelligence services and for its two AA Rosette Caxton Restaurant. It is also an accredited Living Wage employer and a member of the Considerate Hoteliers Association.

St Ermin’s has consistently featured in industry awards in recent years. It received four AA Red Stars in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and was voted a “Top London Hotel” in Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Choice Awards. The property’s culinary offering was also recognised with two AA Rosettes for excellence in 2024.
