Two Arora Group-owned hotel development sites in Birmingham and Glasgow city centres have officially been brought to market for a combined freehold asking price of £6m.
The Birmingham site, located on Hill Street, has planning approval for a 227-bedroom hotel and is priced at £2m. It sits opposite the Grand Central shopping centre and New Street station.
Meanwhile, the Glasgow site at Dale House on West George Street is listed for £4m. The former bank facility has planning consent for a 276-bedroom hotel near Glasgow Queen Street station.
News of the sale process comes after Arora Group initially acquired these assets in July 2025 as part of its purchase of Bloc Hotels.
According to Arora Group representatives, the locations are non-core to its future strategy.
The Birmingham development is designed to rise 22 storeys and includes 189 standard bedrooms and 27 apartments, while the Glasgow project includes consent for 276 rooms across a basement, ground floor, and eight upper storeys. The plans also feature 14,109 sq ft of retail space at ground level.
Gavin Wright, founder of Enterprise Hotels and Hospitality, who is handling the sale, said: “These two development sites are both in prime positions and represent valuable opportunities in both city centres.
“Each site has existing consent for hotel development, although there is also the potential for alternative residential or commercial development, subject to further planning permission.”
He added: “We are already handling early interest in both sites and so any potential purchasers should get in touch as soon as possible.”
