The Durley Dean Hotel on Bournemouth’s West Cliff Road has been brought to market for £5.75m, following its complete renovation over the last seven years.

Dating back to approximately 1800, the beachfront property was originally constructed as individual terraced hotels and houses that have since been merged into one hotel.

The Durley Dean features 112 en suite guest bedrooms, an open-plan 180-cover restaurant and a bar and lounge that seats 42.

The building also includes function facilities, such as five suites for conferences, weddings and events that can host up to 150.

Its spa additionally contains a heated indoor pool and fitness gym.

The hotel welcomes both leisure and business guests and is said to have considerable potential to expand its corporate and wedding revenue.

Ed Bellfield, regional director at Christie and Co who is managing the sale, said: “The sale of the Durley Dean Hotel presents a unique chance to acquire a prestigious property close to Bournemouth beach front. This well-established venue offers significant potential for growth, with opportunities to expand its function business, enhance corporate accommodation offerings, and tap into the rising demand for leisure stays during weekends and holiday periods.”
