Kate Silverton to host AA Hospitality Awards 2019

The AA has announced that journalist and TV presenter, Kate Silverton, will be the host of the 22nd annual AA Hospitality Awards on Monday 23rd September 2019, at the Grosvenor House hotel in London.

Recognising the excellence of hotels, restaurants and their teams across the UK, the awards is considered one of the industry’s “most prestigious and highly anticipated events”.

The awards will name the best hotels, restaurants and pubs across the UK, and celebrate individuals with awards such as the Lifetime Achievement Award, Chef of the Year and more.

This year’s AA Hospitality Awards will also mark the introduction of the inaugural Spa of the Year Award, which will recognise an “outstanding” spa offering within a hotel, delivering both an excellent overall product and spa experience.

Claude Bosi, chef patron at Bibendum said: “It has been a real honour and privilege to have been voted Chef of the Year by my industry peers and friends. I am (not!) looking forward to cooking for them all at the dinner.”
