The Medlock, a new 401-bedroom hotel at the Etihad Campus, has launched a recruitment drive for more than 100 positions.
The hotel is a partnership between Manchester City Football Club and Radisson Hotel Group.
Vacancies are available across housekeeping, engineering, reservations, and front-of-house departments.
The recruitment process is being managed by the hotel’s operator, Valor Hospitality, in collaboration with training provider Total People.
The partnership with Total People will provide vocational qualifications and training programmes for Manchester residents entering the hospitality sector.
The recruitment drive prioritises local employment ahead of the hotel’s opening later this year.
Job advertisements will be published on 27 April 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend open days scheduled for mid-May.
The hotel is part of the Medlock Square development located between the Etihad Stadium and the Co-op Live arena.
The site forms the next phase of the Etihad Campus and will include entertainment and dining facilities.
Richard Pearson, general manager, said: “This is a milestone we’ve been eagerly anticipating, building the team that will bring The Medlock to life. We’re looking for people who carry the spirit of Manchester with them, people who are proud of where they’re from and passionate about creating something special together.
“The Medlock is about more than great service; it’s about connection, community and character. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting partnership between Manchester City Football Club, Radisson Hotel Group and Valor Hospitality, and to help shape a destination that truly reflects this city.”
Pearson added: “Valor Hospitality is dedicated to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace, offering a generous benefits package, strong health and wellbeing support, and real opportunities for growth. I’m excited to meet our new team as we prepare for our grand opening later this year.”
