The Hotel Collection is set to sell The Cheltenham Park Hotel in Gloucestershire which has been put on the market with a guide price of £8m.
The 152-bedroom property is grade-II listed and includes a leisure club, restaurant and multiple function rooms.
Martin Rogers, director of hotels, leisure and trading at Savills, who is handling the sale, said: “This stunning Georgian manor house is just two miles from Cheltenham which is hugely popular with tourists thanks to its racecourse, fashionable retailers and close proximity to the Cotswolds. It offers a diverse revenue stream and long term income could be further enhanced by extending the wedding and events facilities or adding spa treatment rooms.”
The property is the brand’s third hotel to be put on the market in the past eight days and the company, formerly known as Puma hotels until a rebranding in June, is reportedly trying to ‘streamline’ its portfolio.
The other two hotels up for sale are the 122-bedroom Palace Hotel in Buxton Derbyshire, which is on sale for a minimum price of £7m, and the 100-bedroom Basingstoke Country Hotel, Hampshire, up for a guide price of £5.5m.
