DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its first property in Coventry following the multi-million pound refurbishment of the Ricoh Arena hotel.

The 121-bedroom hotel in the Ricoh Arena – home of Coventry City FC and Premiership rugby club Wasps – offers 50 queen rooms with stadium views, 18 deluxe rooms and two king suites.

The property will also feature a restaurant, bar and brasserie, a fitness centre, free WiFi and 80 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 7,000 delegates, including a 6,000 sq metre conference and exhibition hall.

Richard Marsh, general manager, said: “The Ricoh Arena attracts a huge number of people to its wide range of events – sport, business and entertainment – and the DoubleTree by Hilton here will be perfectly suited to serve the needs of that growing audience.”
