Hilton Worldwide has announced it will launch its first ‘Curio’ branded property in the UK next year, following a franchise deal with Shiva Hotels.

The 129-bedroom Lincoln Plaza London hotel is set to open in London’s Canary Wharf by the end of 2016 and will be integrated as part of the 31-storey Lincoln Plaza building.

The property, which will feature a gym, roof terrace, two bars and two restaurants, joins 15 properties and 13,000 rooms open or in various stages of development across the world under the Curio brand.

Dianna Vaughan, global head of Curio – A Collection by Hilton said, “Having introduced Curio to Europe earlier this year with the opening of Reichshof Hamburg, we’re thrilled to be bringing the brand to the UK. I can’t think of a better debut hotel than Lincoln Plaza London.”

Rishi Sachdev, managing director of Shiva Hotels, added that the company is “delighted” to be working on another first in the UK for Hilton Worldwide.
