Brighton’s Waterfront hotel rebranded to Jury’s Inn

The Waterfront hotel in Brighton, currently part of the Hotel Collection, is set to be rebranded to a Jury’s Inn.

The property is set to receive an investment of £5.6m from Amaris Hospitality – owner of both Jury’s Inn and Hotel Collection – which will fund the refurbishment of its 210 bedrooms, conference and meeting rooms.

Amaris will also invest £1.9m into its second Jury’s Inn property in Brighton, bringing its total investment in the area to £7.5m.

The move forms part of the company’s plans to rebrand more than 22 hotels in the UK and invest £100m in the transformation and refurbishment of those properties.

John Brennan, CEO of Amaris Hospitality, said: “We are delighted to be adding such a high performing hotel to the Jurys Inn brand. This initiative will see the hotel leverage its prime location, next to Brighton’s famous pier, with a significant investment programme to further enhance its exceptional customer service and business performance.

“I have all confidence that our guests will enjoy a smooth and seamless transition as we reposition the Waterfront hotel to the Jurys Inn brand.”

The refurbishment of both hotels, which will take the Jury’s Inn brand up to 37 properties, is expected to be complete by Q4 of 2016.
