Angie Petkovic, managing director of Cheltenham based apt marketing & pr and Hotel Owner columnist, will be presenting at a national trade event for the hotel industry next week. As the UK’s first ever event for independent, luxury and boutique hoteliers, Angie’s session is already fully booked.
Independent Hotel 12 will take place at Olympia in London and is due to feature some of the UK’s top CEOs, hotel gurus and managing directors. Hoteliers and guests will receive access to first hand expertise from a breadth of handpicked companies showcasing their latest useful products and ideas as well as having the opportunity to network and attend business sessions with industry experts.
As an ex-hotelier, a founding member of Logis of Great Britain and regular contributor to Hotel Owner magazine, Angie will be speaking on the topic of ‘How to beat the downtimes and build customer loyalty’. Angie, alongside the other panel members, is expected to deliver an interesting and inspiring speech, tapping into a wealth of unnoticed opportunities for the audience.
Angie Petkovic says: ‘It’s fantastic to be contributing to such an event! The independent hotel industry has faced many challenges within the past few years and it is my pleasure to share various insights with others in the industry.”
After more than 15 years’ experience in the hotel industry, Angie established apt marketing & pr, which is an integrated agency that supports hotels, tourism and leisure clients alongside many other client sectors both locally and internationally.
Angie’s business session will take place at 10.30am and she will share the panel with Martin Evans (the tourism business) and Louise Oldfield (owner of the Reading rooms Margate).
The Independent Hotel 12 event will take place on 16 to17 October 2012 at Olympia in London. For further details go to independenthotelshow.co.uk.
