The date for the Annual Hotel General Manager’s Conference has been announced, taking place from 14 to 15 January.
Presentations from a range of hotel and finance professionals are scheduled where they will share personal experiences and provide delegates with ideas and advice for boosting their businesses.
Andrew Stembridge, chairman for Master Innholders, said that the current climate has been difficult for many hoteliers. “2012 has been a tough year for hotels and during times like this it’s even more important for the industry to come together. By sharing our passion, experiences and best practice, we will continue not only to improve standards but also to aid the survival of hotels throughout the UK,” he aid.
“Last year’s conference saw attendance up by 25 per cent and we’re hoping that the great line-up of spekers and topics will encourage even more of our members to join us.”
Topics included on the bill are: Winning Through the Best Companies Experience; The Corporate Athlete – Managing Wellness and Resilience for Business Leaders; ‘The Art of Service; and Global Tourism: The Opportunity for the UK.
A champagne reception and black tie dinner will take place on 14 January where the presentation of the Hotelier of the Year award will take place.
Delegate prices start at just £250 and there is a special early-bird offer of one free place with every four booked, provided the booking is received by 9 November.
