Andaz London Liverpool Street appoints director of Rooms

In her new position, Franzé will be responsible for the activities and smooth running of all room-related departments

Hyatt’s Andaz London has promoted Vanessa Franzé to director of Rooms, following seven years of experience at the luxury lifestyle hotel. 

Franzé was previously Rooms Division manager at the hotel, and has been part of the Andaz London team since 2016 when she started as shift leader.

In her new position, Franzé will be responsible for the activities and smooth running of all room-related departments, “ensuring guest satisfaction across the board”. 

On a day-to-day basis, she will work closely with the housekeeping department and the front desk, overseeing the quality of guest experience from check-in to check-out. This will include the management of the hotel’s 267 luxury guest rooms, including 15 suites.

Franzé’s hospitality career began 12 years ago in her hometown of Guetersloh, Germany, where she learned her passion for the hospitality industry. 

Before joining the Andaz London team seven years ago, she started her career in hospitality at Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf as Receptionist, where she worked between 2014 and 2016. She progressed through Reception and then onto the Regency Club, taking care of VIPs and Members. 

General manager of Andaz London Mario Flanagan, said: “Vanessa has been an integral part of Andaz London and has made significant contributions right from the beginning. I believe she will continue driving valuable experiences for all guests as director of Rooms.”
