Lomond Hills Hotels in Freuchie near Falkland Palace has been sold to regional developer Glenshire Group for an undisclosed sum.
The news comes after the hotel was brought to market following liquidation in March due to challenges related to the cost of living crisis and Covid-19.
The 19th Century converted coaching inn has welcomed guests for almost 300 years.
The property features 24 bedrooms, a restaurant and public bar, which was renowned for serving over 52 malt whiskies and two quality real ales, along with two function suites and a leisure centre with a pool, gym, sauna and spa.
Christie and Co successfully completed the sale of the Lomond Hills Hotel on behalf of liquidators.
