RBH Hospitality Management has announced that its RevPAR jumped 22% compared with 2019.

This figure beats the national average RevPAR increase of 15% compared to 2019, according to HotStats.

RBH has reported a 13% rise in Gross Operating Profit, compared to the national average of +0.6% growth, as of September 2023.

Furthermore, the management company’s net operating profit increased by 16%.

CEO David Hart said: “Forward planning and careful management of our fixed cost agreements with partners have greatly benefited our commercial performance this year. For 2024, we are largely looking at initiatives to improve and streamline housekeeping operations in hotels.”

Gregor MacNaughton, chief technical officer, added: “We’ve been working on a partnership for many months to install room energy management systems in hotels with sensors that are fitted in each room. Following a thorough trial, it has suggested a 40% reduction in consumption with the right technology, and an estimated ROI after 15 months of operation. We expect to roll this out in many other hotels in the coming months to further boost their overall profitability.”
