Burley Manor in the New Forest, near Bournemouth, has appointed Adam Wilson as its new general manager.
Wilson joins the property after two years as GM at The Ivy Clifton Brasserie in Bristol, and has also had roles at the Michelin starred restaurant at Danesfield House Hotel in Marlow, the OXO Tower in London and the HIX Mayfair at the five-star Brown’s Hotel in London.
According to the hotel, his experience in the restaurant industry will be a “great addition” to the Burley Manor team, where he will bring his “expertise to boost the restaurant’s reputation even further”.
Commenting on his appointment, Wilson said: “I am excited to be joining such a forward-thinking restaurant and rooms as general manager, to continue building both the team, the ethos and Burley Manor’s reputation as a destination restaurant.
“Set to be a pivotal year for us all here, I’m really looking forward to leading such a passionate team and together making all areas of the guests experience even better whilst showcasing the best of the Mediterranean. We’ll be sharing more exciting news and plans soon – watch this space.”
