RBH Hospitality Management has announced the appointment of Lauren Sargent as its new group HR director.

Sargent joins from Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland, where she spent several years in senior HR roles. She brings more than 11 years of experience in hospitality and human resources.

At RBH she will be responsible for shaping people, talent and development strategy at a corporate level and across the group’s portfolio of more than 50 hotels.

According to the group, Sargent’s appointment is closely aligned with the company’s culture.

David Hart, chief executive of RBH, said: “We are a values-led business and Lauren’s vision for our team aligns perfectly with our culture and ambitions. Her passion for the hospitality industry alongside her expertise will help us build on our strong reputation as a leading UK management company and continue to make RBH a sought-after place to work.”

Sargent added: “RBH is a business that I have long admired within hospitality, and I’m excited to join a team that is well-established in the industry with such a strong employer brand. It’s important to me to be part of a company where its people and founding values are at the heart of everything they do.”

RBH is one of the UK’s largest independent hotel management companies, with more than 25 years of experience. Its partners include international hotel brands such as Accor, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, IHG, Marriott International and Wyndham Worldwide.
