The management agreement between Kempinski Hotels and London’s Stafford hotel has ended after a mutual agreement.

The 105-bedroom hotel in St James’ had been under the management of Kempinski since 2010. Kempinski has now been dropped from the name and the hotel will be rebranded as The Stafford London.

Reservations for the property can continue to be made via Kempinski’s sales channels until September 10, and all existing reservations will be honoured.

A statement from The Stafford London said that the agreement had been a “smooth transition” and that the decision was in the “interests of all parties.”

The management and staff will remain at the hotel without change.
