Radisson Hotel Group has opened the Radisson Resort and Residences Tenerife on the northern coast of the island. Located in Puerto de la Cruz, the hillside property is situated near the historic centre of the town and offers views of Mount Teide.

The resort consists of 241 rooms and residences designed for both standard guest stays and extended visits. Buildings are positioned within tropical gardens and the names of public spaces are taken from the national and natural parks of the Canary Islands.

On-site facilities include the Tremor Restaurant, which serves local and international buffet options, and the Magma Pool Bar. A second venue, the Magma Cocktail Bar, serves premium spirits and cocktails.

The Laurisilva Wellness Centre provides aromatherapy and beauty treatments alongside a 24-hour fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool with a solarium. Seven meeting and event spaces, including the Tagoror and Anaga venues, are equipped for private functions.

The property is located near the Lago Martiánez seawater pools and the La Orotava Botanical Garden. Teide National Park and the UNESCO-listed town of San Cristóbal de La Laguna are also accessible from the resort.

Joep Peters, chief operating officer for franchise at Radisson, said: “Radisson Resort and Residences Tenerife perfectly captures what today’s leisure travellers are looking for, flexibility, comfort, and a strong sense of place. This opening reinforces our focus on expanding the Radisson brand in high-quality resort destinations, offering guests experiences that feel both restorative and authentically local.”

Onésimo Dorta, general manager of Radisson Resort and Residences Tenerife, added: “The opening of Radisson Resort and Residences Tenerife marks an exciting milestone for our team and our community.

“We’re proud to introduce a destination that reflects the natural beauty and relaxed spirit of Tenerife, while delivering the warm hospitality and quality experiences Radisson is renowned for.”
