RBH celebrate success at IHG Star Awards

Independent hotel management company RBH, which has a portfolio of more than 45 hotels, has picked up six awards at the IHG Star Awards.

The awards ceremony, which recognises the best in hospitality, was held on Wednesday 19 June at Principle Manchester, bringing together employees from across the UK.

Crowne Plaza London – Docklands celebrated going ‘from good to great’ by collecting the ‘Most Improved Guest Experience’ award for Crowne Plaza in the UK and Ireland, whilst its counterparts at Crowne Plaza Reading were crowned winners in the ‘Loyalty Excellence’ category.

Hotel Indigo Cardiff celebrated a double award, taking home a ‘Heartbeat Torchbearer’ award – alongside Holiday Inn Express St Albans – M25 Jct. 22 – as well as picking up the ‘Guest Experience Excellence’ award.

Neil Taylor, chief operating officer at RBH, said: “We are very proud of the achievements of team RBH at IHG Star Awards, with six awards secured on the night.

“We have an exceptionally talented team across the board, with certain hotels and individuals shining bright. The categories that RBH excelled in really highlight our overall commitment to providing a first class guest experience across our portfolio.

“I look forward to seeing what next year’s awards ceremony brings, and I am sure that each of our IHG hotels will be striving to achieve an accolade.”

Philip Taylor, IHG hotel performance delivery director UK and Ireland, added: “I would like to say a big well done to the winning hotels for continuing to ‘fly the flag’ with at least one winner from each of the IHG brands under RBH management winning an award.”
