North Yorkshire luxury hotel group Grantley Hall has completed the acquisition of a 44-acre mixed-use land and property portfolio adjoining its existing estate.

The purchase aims to provide space for the future expansion of the luxury hospitality destination.

The group stated that specific development plans for the new plot remain under consideration.

The acquisition is intended to support long-term growth and infrastructure investment to boost the wider Yorkshire tourism economy.

The estate launched in 2019 and currently operates 47 bedrooms, five restaurants, three bars, a spa, and a gym on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

Richard Sykes, managing director, said: “Grantley Hall has always been defined by a sense of space, freedom and escape. A place where guests can experience something genuinely exceptional.

“This acquisition gives us the opportunity to think far more ambitiously about the future of the estate and how we continue to evolve the guest experience for generations to come. It creates the foundation for long-term growth, greater flexibility, and the ability to shape new experiences that strengthen Grantley Hall’s position as a leading luxury destination.”
