Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester has announced the appointment of Jessica Southworth as the new cluster sales and marketing director.
Southworth joined the luxury hotel following 10 years at Troo Hospitality, where she worked as sales and marketing director at Hotel Football.
In her expanded role at the five-star hotel, she will oversee sales and marketing strategies across the group’s luxury hospitality portfolio.
Southworth has 20 years of hospitality experience across the north-west, including a role at Hilton Liverpool. She joined Hotel Football in January 2016 as senior sales manager before moving through senior commercial roles, including national account manager and head of sales.
She joins the senior leadership team alongside cluster general manager Chris Hull. The pair will manage the hotel’s commercial and operational strategy, alongside the development of Norfolk House.
Southworth said: “I’m delighted to be joining Stock Exchange Hotel at such an exciting time for the business. The hotel holds so many memories – from visiting whilst the restoration was still evolving right through to how we see the extraordinary building today.
“The whole team has built an outstanding reputation within Manchester’s hospitality sector, not only for the hotel, but for our restaurant concept tender. I’m very excited to be working with Chef Niall Keating. Niall’s craft is exceptional, and I can’t wait to celebrate it further with Manchester.”
Hull added: “Jess brings a wealth of commercial experience, an outstanding track record within the wider business within Troo Hospitality, and a genuine passion for hospitality that aligns perfectly with our values at Stock Exchange Hotel.
“We’re looking forward to working with Jess on what is an exciting new chapter for the hotel with our expansion on the horizon and a busy year ahead.”
