Elegant Hotel Collection has rebranded as Elegant Hotels of the World after adding seven independent hotels to its portfolio across the UK and the Asia-Pacific region.

New properties include The Lakes by YOO in the Cotswolds, Foxhills in Surrey, and three London sites: The Zetter Bloomsbury, Fulham Pier Hotel, and Bertrand’s Townhouse. The group also added Tanah Gajah – A Resort by Hadiprana in Bali, and TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao in Thailand to its portfolio.

The company said it will also introduce a new tier of five-star properties named Masterpiece by Elegant Hotels of the World, and has launched a website featuring curated hotel collections and destination guides.

The wider portfolio, managed by HotelREZ Hotels and Resorts, includes Best Loved Hotels and WithSoul Hotels, which the group uses to support independent hotels.

Anna Payne, HotelREZ Group vice president of global brands, said: “Elegant Hotels of the World reflects the progression of a pioneering soft brand that is expanding its value proposition to offer independent hotels the global platform and commercial strength required to compete more effectively.

“Continued investment in the brand’s route to market sits at the centre of this progression, with the launch of new digital platforms that strengthen how hotels are discovered, considered, and ultimately booked.”

Catt McLeod, Elegant Hotels of the World vice president, added: “Luxury today is far more personal than ever. Travellers are increasingly drawn to hotels that offer a strong sense of individuality and connection to place. Elegant Hotels of the World brings together a growing global portfolio of hotels defined by originality, character and a clear sense of identity.”
