De Vere Horsley Estate has revealed the results of a £2m refurbishment to its iconic Horsley Towers, the mansion house that is featured in the Netflix historical drama, The Crown.
The renovation programme involved a complete overhaul of interiors throughout Horsley Towers, which have been transformed to bring them in line with De Vere’s “distinctly British aesthetic”.
Horsley Towers now features a new contempoary reception and communal areas with floral and geometric patterns, tweeds and royal blue accents. The Tower’s 28 bedrooms have all seen tan leather furniture, tweeds and a heritage colour palette new lighting and bathrooms added.
In addition, the refurbishment has seen the event spaces in Horsley Towers, including the Great Hall, renovated to ensure the property retains many of its original features dating back to 1822.
This includes the 14 event spaces located in the towers, which contribute to De Vere Horsley Estate’s overall 49 meeting and event space offering.

In addition to the 28 bedrooms in Horsley Towers, Horsley Place features a further 152 bedrooms.
