Specialist training provider Luxury Academy has launched a programme designed to enhance service and elevate standards within upscale hotels.
‘The Hotel Finishing School’ is a half-day programme that has been described as a cross between “the Swiss finishing school of the 19th Century and a charm school”.
Topics to be covered during the programme include memorable first impressions; grooming and personal presentation; department and demeanour; and use of small talk and language when interacting with guests.
Founded by Paul Russell in December 2012 to meet the increasing need for a dedicated training resource tailored for independently owned four and five-star hotels, the Luxury Academy offers advice and training across all areas of hospitality.
