Dorchester Collection appoints VP commercial
The newly created role will focus on driving Dorchester Collection’s commercial success through a combination of business development, long-term value creation and driving brand equity
The Dorchester Collection has announced the promotion of Philip Morris to vice president of commercial, effective immediately.
In his new role, Morris will report to Helen Smith, chief customer experience officer. He will be responsible for strategic business planning, data analytics and performance insights, marketing, revenue management, global sales and distribution.
The Dorchester Collection said that the changing landscape of global travel following the Covid-19 pandemic has meant that Morris’ new role has evolved in response to a shift in consumer habits.

Morris joined Dorchester Collection as corporate director of revenue management in 2013, where he was responsible for aligning brand revenue and online strategy.
After four years, he was promoted to global commercial director, with added responsibility for contact centres, digital transformation, and email marketing.
