Kro Hospitality has opened its second boutique hotel, Forty-Seven, within the Grade-II listed Lancashire House, a former shipping warehouse located at 47 Peter Street, Manchester.
The boutique hotel features a total of 32 bedrooms – including 13 suites within a range of one and two-bedroom duplexes and signature suites.
The hotel has appointed its own ‘sleep fixer’ as each bedroom’s main focus is on sleep and relaxation.
The rooms also feature a “comforting” colour palette, “premium” linens, vegan bedding, mood lighting and secondary-glazed windows with blackout blinds and curtains. Guests are also given a luxury pillow menu.
Additionally, bluetooth speakers are available to play sleep podcasts and white noise.
In the bathrooms, guests are offered fragrances and moisturisers from L’Occitane.
Downstairs, the hotel has also opened a ‘Michelin Guide Listed’ restaurant, Asha’s Restaurant, which is known for its authentic Indian food.
The hotel’s cocktail lounge, The Peterman, is located on the ground floor and offers hand-crafted signature drinks that are based on some of Manchester’s most well-known sites.
Ryan Thompson, general manager, said: “It will be a delight to welcome guests into the hotel, where each stay promises a personalised guest experience in a setting like no other.
“With the utmost consideration of service at every level, we have paired a sophisticated city retreat with an impeccable food offering from Asha’s Restaurant, which will provide room service, breakfast and dining for events. Meanwhile, The Peterman serves high-end signature cocktails in a stylish hideaway.”
