NOHM enters wholesale partnership with Blabers Hall Wine

The partnership comes as the hotel and restaurant operator looks to expand its local supplier network

No Ordinary Hospitality Management, the operator of Coombe Abbey Hotel, has partnered with Blabers Hall Wine in Fillongley, Coventry, to provide locally-produced wine for the historic hotel’s afternoon tea.

The partnership comes as NOHM, which also runs St Mary’s Guildhall and its restaurant Tales of Tea and the Park Bistro in War Memorial Park, looks to expand its local supplier network.

A family-run vineyard consists of 35 acres, growing grapes from 9,300 hand-planted vines to create small batch wine that evoke “classic English flavours using types suited to cooler climates”.

The vineyard produces seven wines including three still white wines, a still rosé, a still red, sparkling white and a sparkling rosé.

Adele Adams, founder of Blabers Hall Wine, said: “Coombe Abbey is the perfect partner for this link as the venue shares a lot of our values in aiming for high quality and in celebrating local produce – and we are really excited about the prospect of more people trying our wine.

“It’s brilliant to now be celebrating our first official wholesale partnership to share what we have been working towards in the last few years with even more people throughout Coventry and Warwickshire.”

Ron Terry, group operations director at No Ordinary Hospitality, added: “Blabers Hall is a fantastic local producer which creates a high-quality product and embodies all of the values we look for in our suppliers.

“They are not just championing local produce and creating great results, they are growing everything themselves just a few miles from the hotel and we are extremely pleased to be working alongside them. We can’t wait for our guests to try their wine.”
