Bvlgari Hotel London has announced the appointment of Duncan Palmer as managing director.
Palmer brings extensive global experience to the role having spent more than 40 years in senior management positions within the luxury hospitality industry.
He joins Bvlgari Hotel London from The Beaumont Mayfair, where he led an extensive renovation and extension. In his new role, he will apply his leadership expertise to deliver Bvlgari’s guest experience, whilst driving the hotel’s continued success as one of Knightsbridge most “iconic” hotels.
He has also held senior hotel roles at The Murray Hong Kong as managing director, the Langham Hospitality group as regional vice president of Europe, and managing director of The Langham London.
His experience also spans positions as general manager at The Sukhothai, Bangkok and the Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta. Closer to home, he held the position of general manager at The Connaught and The Savoy in London.
Regarding his appointment, Palmer said: “I am honoured to join the exceptional team at Bvlgari Hotel London, a true icon of modern luxury in the heart of the city. My goal is to continue building on the hotel’s legacy, offering our guests unparalleled experiences defined by Bvlgari’s distinctive blend of Italian heritage and contemporary elegance.
“Together with my colleagues here, we will ensure that every detail, from personalised service to refined design, reflects the unique values that make Bvlgari synonymous with excellence in hospitality.”
