Hospitality cloud platform Mews has expanded its partnership with Criterion Hospitality through a multi-year agreement.
This will allow Criterion to continue to automate operations, optimise revenue management, and enhance the guest experience with Mews’ integrated Property Management System and Revenue Management System.
Currently, eight Criterion Hospitality hotels, including Victory House Leicester Square, Assembly Covent Garden, and the Zedwell portfolio, run on Mews, with further expansion planned over the next 18 months.
Criterion Hospitality is the operational arm of Criterion Capital and manages a diverse portfolio of upscale and mid-range lifestyle hotels including Zedwell.
Criterion has a number of Zedwell properties in London locations like Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road, and Greenwich.
At Zedwell Piccadilly Circus, the brand’s largest hotel, it has 15 self-service terminals with over half of guests checking in through these kiosks, and over a third opt for online check-in before arrival.
Zedwell plans to scale to 8,500 rooms by 2027, expanding beyond London into key UK cities like York, Manchester, and Edinburgh.
Matt Welle, CEO of Mews, said: “It’s a pleasure to collaborate with forward-thinking brands like Criterion Hospitality. We’ve worked with their team since 2021, and their commitment to innovation, efficiency, and prioritising the guest experience positions them as a leader in frictionless hospitality.”
Halima Aziz, head of hotels at Criterion Hospitality, added: “We’re delighted to strengthen our partnership with the Mews team. Their pioneering technology has enabled us to enhance automation throughout our guest journey, allowing our teams to focus on what really matters – delivering excellent customer service.”
