Notting Hill hotel, The Laslett, has announced the appointment of Luke Dockrill as its new manager.

Dockrill joins from Firmdale Hotels, where he spent 13 years in various roles, most recently as deputy general manager at the Charlotte Street Hotel.

During his time there, the hotel received a Michelin Key in September 2024, an accolade for excellence in hospitality. Dockrill also contributed to two Catey Award nominations – for front office team of the year in 2023 and restaurant team of the year in 2016.

He previously held posts including food and beverage manager, restaurant manager and bar manager.

Dockrill has been credited with developing guest-facing events such as film clubs, guest chef series, masterclasses and DJ nights, and said these would now be introduced at The Laslett.

Dockrill said: “I’m honoured to join The Laslett, a hotel that captures the spirit and soul of Notting Hill. I look forward to leading the wonderful team here and building on the hotel’s strong foundation, deepening our ties to the local community and delivering truly memorable experiences for every guest.”
