The Coniston Hotel Country Estate and Spa has announced the appointment of Tim O’Sullivan as its new general manager.

According to the hotel, this latest appointment is part of plans to expand its offering and strengthen its position as a destination in the Yorkshire Dales.

O’Sullivan joined with more than 25 years of experience in the UK hospitality industry, having previously held roles at the Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa and Rookery Hall Hotel and Spa. At Rookery Hall, he oversaw a major refurbishment and the launch of a new dining concept.

In his new role at the Coniston, which is located near Skipton, he will oversee the estate’s operations, which include a spa, three restaurants and outdoor activities such as clay pigeon shooting, archery and fishing.

O’Sullivan said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Coniston at such a pivotal moment. The estate has a truly unique proposition, from its award‑winning spa and breathtaking landscape to its dynamic hospitality and activity offering. I look forward to working with the talented team to shape an experience that continues to surprise and delight every guest who visits.”
