Ritz-Carlton Maldives to host Halloween-themed autumn festival

In this episode we speak to brothers Alex and Adrien Grosjean, young entrepreneurs who have recently acquired The Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly. We discussed the reasons why Manchester’s visitor market is booming, and their decision to invest in this area, why they see extended-stay accommodation as a major opportunity in what is one of the UK's fastest-growing cities, how they plan to enhance their portfolio of hotels, and their advice for the next generation of hospitality disruptors.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, will hold a Halloween-themed autumn festival between 30 October and 5 November.

The resort has scheduled a series of activities for children, teenagers and adults, ranging from pumpkin carving and treasure hunts to fitness sessions and craft workshops. Guest chef Max Strohe, who holds a Michelin star, will also host several dining events as part of the resort’s Masters of Crafts programme.

The programme begins on 30 October with a beach workout and children’s activities including a costume show and “haunted brick builders” challenge. In the evening, Strohe will host a dinner at the shorefront restaurant La Locanda.

On 31 October, guests can take part in yoga in the Mystique Garden, a turtle snorkelling trip, wreath-making workshops and an island-wide trick-or-treat treasure hunt. A Halloween feast is scheduled for the evening.

Other activities during the week include a mobility workshop with coach Anthony Green, pumpkin art, mask-making and a carnival featuring food stalls, games and a magic show. The festival will close on 5 November with yoga, craft sessions, a family treasure hunt and two cruises – one with a Halloween theme and a final sunset sailing.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands opened in 2021 and is located in the North Malé Atoll. It forms part of a multi-resort development that also includes Capella Maldives and Patina Maldives.
