Palé Hall hotel to receive major refurb

The Palé Hall hotel in Wales has announced a major refurbishment plan which will see the addition of four new room and a re-imagined bar and restaurant.

The refurbishment work is expected to be complete by May 2020. Dating back to the late 19th Century, the house was restored by owners Alan and Angela Harper to its “former glory” in 2016.

The hotel comprises of 18 bedrooms and also featured The Henry Robertson dining room, which holds three AA Rosettes.

The refurbishment will see bedrooms increase from 18 to up to 22-23 total occupancy with the addition of guest houses on the grounds to include The Barn, The Garden Cottage and two Coach House Suites.

Additionally, in January 2020, the Palé Hall restaurant will increase its covers from 48 to 60, following the initial phase of the refurbishment.

Palé Hall said: “The bar is to be called The Huntsman named after the intricate game carvings which adorn it, will offer bistro style dining, and casual seating in an informal and relaxed setting.”
