Nadler Hotels has announced the appointment of Charles Prew as chairman of the group, effective from October 1.
Prew takes up the role at the London and Liverpool hotel chain following the retirement of Rupert Clarke from the board of directors. He has had a long career operating at director-level for 30 years, and 14 years at senior board level.
He has worked at Grand Metropolitan Hotels, Ladbroke Hotels, Hilton International and Jarvis Hotels before taking on the role of CEO of Dawnay Shore Hotels and Barceló Hotels.
Prew acted as CEO on behalf of Ernst and Young, the administrators for Von Essen Hotels, and is currently managing director of The Buell Group.
Nadler CEO, Robert Nadler said: “Charles joins Nadler Hotels at an exciting point in its development, with our fourth hotel under construction in central London and further hotels under consideration.
“His role will be to guide and accelerate the group’s expansion as a hotel operating company, as it looks to take on leases and management contracts whilst continuing to seek further acquisitions for its own hotel developments”.
