St Pierre Park Hotel wins Best Spa in the Channel Islands

The health club and spa at St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Guernsey, has scooped the award for Best Spa in the Channel Islands for the second year in a row at the Good Spa Guide Awards.

Relaunched last summer following a £2.5m investment, the Health Club & Spa at St Pierre Park – is owned and operated by country house hotel and spa resort group, Hand Picked Hotels. The spa has five treatment rooms, a relaxation room, a marble steam room, dual aspect volcanic stone sauna, hot and cold rainfall and monsoon ‘experience’ showers, a 16.5m indoor swimming pool and an extensive outdoor terrace with spa pool.

Hand Picked Hotels’ two other Channel Island hotels, L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa in St Brelades Bay, Jersey, and the Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa in St Helier, were also shortlisted in the same category.

The Good Spa Awards, launched by the Good Spa Guide back in 2010, are designed to recognise the best spas in Britain as nominated by their readers and an expert panel of ‘spa spies.’

Lesley Bacon, group health club and spa manager at Hand Picked Hotels, said: “I am thrilled for the spa team and all at St Pierre Park who have worked tirelessly since re-launch to offer a truly premium spa experience for our loyal spa members and hotel guests.

“The Good Spa Award nominations are completely anonymous and the competition is always very strong, so this is a fantastic achievement in recognition of the high standards of service and quality we work hard to maintain and I congratulate all those nominated.”
